History

1886.

The Skrob Subotica factory was founded back in 1886. It had a long tradition in the production of starch and gluten and their modifications based on wheat and corn. The factory was renovated in 1945 and 1949. Since 1974, Skrob Subotica has been part of the combined collective for the production of flour, dry dough and baking products and changed its name to Fidelinka.

Fidelinka represented the leading producer of wheat flour, pasta and baking products in the country and the region and the only producer of wheat starch and gluten in the Balkans. In its long tradition, the Fidelinka company has become synonymous with high-quality wheat-based products.

Intense changes in the Fidelinka complex took place in 2000. Modernization and the spirit of development conquered all areas of business operations and transformed the company into a very dynamic and high-quality European concern of the food industry. By preserving the most valuable legacy of a hundred years of development of previous generations – first of all, high product quality, strengthened by new organization and standards in production, proactive approach, Fidelinka meets the needs of the modern consumer.

2005.

In 2005, the company Fidelinka was privatized and established subsidiaries that operated within it, among which was Fidelinka Skrob.

Since 2010, Fidelinka Skrob has continued its business operations, but separately from the FIDELINKA COMPANY.

In the middle of 2022, it is privatized and increases its production capacity, and in 2023 it introduces a new line for the production of modified starch.
